Kvadratko now tracks price history for listings (and doesn't get fooled)

We’ve rolled out a feature that’s been in the works for a while – Kvadratko now remembers the price history for every listing we track.

We all know how real estate portals work: prices jump up and down, properties get artificially inflated only to be "discounted" overnight, and it’s tough for people to figure out what’s a genuine opportunity and what’s just a cheap trick. That’s why we didn't just build a basic counter that blindly copies numbers. Instead, we created a smart system that filters out the noise and recognizes only real price drops.

In practice, this means we ignore accidental mistakes because Kvadratko won't cause a false alarm if someone typos a digit in their listing or changes the price for just a few hours. The system always waits for things to settle down and stabilize before taking a price change seriously.

Likewise, we protect you from fake discounts because our algorithm doesn't buy into the tactic of abruptly hiking a price up only to drop it a few days later to make it look like a "deal." We always calculate a price drop against the actual, stable history of that specific listing, rather than counting artificial, short-lived spikes.

To make sure you always get fresh information, the price drop badge is only displayed for a limited time after the reduction happens. This way, you immediately see what’s an actual, current opportunity on the market, rather than old news.

Our goal is simple – so you no longer have to manually track prices in a notebook or constantly watch the portals. Kvadratko does that tedious work in the background so you can get a clear picture and buy smarter.
