In Praputnjak, above Bakarski zaljev in the hinterland of the town of Bakar, a detached old house on a 442 m² plot is for renovation. The property was built before 1968 and is attached to the neighboring house, and it comes with a conceptual design for a house with a two-level apartment, a swimming pool, and auxiliary rooms.

The property is in the reconstruction phase, with the concrete intermediate floor structure being built.

Praputnjak is a small settlement above Bakarski zaljev, in the hinterland of the town of Bakar. The area has been inhabited since the early Middle Ages, and the village's development was tied to livestock breeding, forestry, and work in the port of Bakar.

In the Middle Ages and later, the area was influenced by the noble Frankopan family, which governed the wider Kvarner area. The population traditionally lived in stone houses and engaged in agriculture and seasonal work along the coast.
