IČIĆI:

Ičići is a small tourist place with around 800 inhabitants, located on the northern Adriatic, in the Kvarner Bay. The place is 5 km from Opatija, or 15 km from Rijeka. It lies at the foot of Mount Učka, which is 1,401 m high and whose surroundings have been declared a nature park because of their special character and natural beauty. The population is mainly engaged in tourism and hospitality. Thanks to its favourable location, Ičići has developed over the years into a true tourist destination with numerous offerings, so in addition to a rich hospitality offer, there are opportunities for various sports, excursions and nightlife.

From Ičići there is a beautiful view of the two largest Croatian islands, Krk and Cres, which can also be visited by boat. This place is especially known for the exceptionally well-equipped ACI Marina. Thanks to the varied accommodation options (hotels, apartments, auto camp) and sports and recreational facilities (tennis courts, water sports, sailing ...), nautical tourism has found a special place for development here. Ičići is connected with other places by intercity and city buses.

In coastal places, the so-called "fishermen's feasts" are especially well known and are organised during the summer months. Ičići also has its own feasts, about which locals and tourists are informed several days in advance through numerous posters.
