An exceptional house in the very center, in the historic core of the town of Vis, more than 100 years old, is a rare property on our market.
This beautifully renovated old stone house highlights natural materials, stone and wood, together with all the antique and traditional details that can be seen and felt as soon as you step inside. The owners have succeeded in preserving the beauty of the old stone house that had been hidden.
The house consists of 4 floors: the ground floor, the 1st and 2nd floors, and the attic.
The ground floor is designed and arranged as a lounge or lobby with a kitchen, and it also has a toilet with a bathroom and a room used as storage, where the boilers, washing machines and dryers are located. The ground floor is about 75 m².

The third floor contains the attic, which is currently unfinished. At its highest point, it is about 4.5 m high.
The plan is either another larger apartment or two rooms with bathrooms and a gallery. Electrical and water installations have been brought to the attic, and a concrete slab has also been made.
The entire house has been expertly renovated with earthquake protection according to the engineer's concept: lightweight concrete slabs were made along the beams, anchored into the walls with iron rods and reinforced with a lot of iron and rebar.
Two layers of insulation were installed over the slabs, made of floor-grade Styrofoam, plus stone wool on top of that, and then a lightweight screed with Styrofoam granules.
The beams were replaced where necessary, and on the second floor they were completely replaced with laminated beams.
The finishing material throughout the house is microcement, which fits the appearance of the house perfectly. Everything was done with modern, high-quality materials, as was the equipment, which was carefully selected.
