Agricultural land, Jelsa - authentic Hvar landscape

On the island of Hvar, in the immediate vicinity of Vrisnik, between Jelsa and Svirč, a unique agricultural plot of 2,319 m² is available.

The plot is a rare example of a preserved traditional Hvar landscape with olive trees, old dry-stone mounds, stone structures, and terraces that bear witness to the former way of life and cultivation of the land. Today there is an olive grove here, and before the olive trees figs were grown on this site.

Particular value is added by the traditional Hvar trimi, small stone field huts built without binding material using the dry-stone technique. They served as shelter from the sun, rain, and bad weather, as storage for tools, and as a place to rest during work in the field.

The Vrisnik area is especially rich in this heritage. Local records also document a complex of four connected trimi, known as “Vrankovića - U gomile,” which further speaks to the historical value and uniqueness of this landscape.

This is not a plot bought only for its square footage, but a space with tradition and a story, attractive for gatherings in a natural setting. The estate has been used for various events and for organizing wine picnics.

The location between Jelsa and Svirč, in the immediate area of Vrisnik, is an additional advantage for those who want to be close to the most beautiful places on Hvar while still enjoying privacy and an authentic island atmosphere.
